How the list was made

Each continent holds twenty spots per sport, ordered by how often the spot is the right answer for a visiting rider rather than by how good it is on its best day. Every record was written from the stations, schools, clubs and federations it cites, with the sources numbered at the foot of each entry. Maps are drawn from a Natural Earth outline held in the repository, and photos, maps and forecasts are links — this site makes no request to anyone else's server, and the atlas does not change that.
